Plaster Project
Inspirations/plaster research: Artist: Ruby Alter Artist: HR Progress: Final Look: With this piece I did have a couple struggles and did not include one aspect of the original design because I did do a mini version of the plaster design and I struggled to keep the hole in the piece a hole, and struggled with the plaster so I did not include it in the final piece. Even though the two sides of the piece are supposed to be contrasting in emotions, with the smoother side being calm and the textured side to represent anxiousness, I wanted to bring some of the emotion onto the smooth side of piece to truly reflect my emotions into the piece and how I feel, therefore there is minimal texture on the smooth side. I also wanted to the piece to be a little messy to help support the emotions I am trying to communicate. The piece was for sure a struggle, but I did my best with the piece and I am happy with the outcome and I think it displays the emotions I was going for. The more successful part o
